Dinner with the Soto's

Tonight we had a very nice dinner party at our house with Ozzie,Angela and Nadia Soto. Ron cooked his famous Salmon and rice pilaf-yummy. Ozzie is from the Bronx and Angela is from Ohio. Nadia is a neat girl she taught herself how to crochet from youtube. We had some great food,wine and nice conversation.

For dessert we had peach pie and ice cream.

The Soto's left at 11:00

Very nice time.

Mothers Day Flowers

On Friday these flowers were delivered to my house from my step-dad. I thought it was such a nice surprise. It is so colorful all my favorite flowers.

Sunday

Today I woke up and it was gray and dreary, I sat outside and wrote some letters to peolple. The weather was sooo cool I loved it. Ron's friend Brian came over and asked if I would help him pick out healthy foods to eat at home. So we are going Friday to do some "Healthy Food Shopping"

While the guy's were here with the kids, I took off to the movies and saw that Nicholas Cage movie and i am not sure what to think about it, great story beginning-very intriguing and at the end I thought it was lame.Just my opinion.

After the movie I brought home some yummy BBQ(boy was it good)

I have a huge project for Kaitlyns school. I have to rubberband 23 shirts so they can get tie died for Super Kids Day on May 8th. What a job,tomorrow I have to go and buy some more rubber bands. The shirts are going to look cool after they are dyed.

Ministers Visit

Tonight we had a very nice visit with our minister and his wife (Jim and Judy Servidio)The arrived about 7;30 and Mrs. Servidio brought Angel Food Cake with Strawberries and whip cream(yummy stuff) it was really nice getting to know them on a more personal level. Ron really enjoyed visiting with them also.
We look forward to having them over for dinner sometime.

Saturday

This morning I dropped off the kids at Ronnie and Kristans. She is taking the kids to go and meet her side of the family. Today Ron and I will be attending church, after church is a potluck. Then we will being seeing a Christian movie called "Fireproof" after the movie there will be a question and answer session on the movie (the theme is Marriage) I am really looking forward to the day, i really need to have some strong spiritual messages today. I have felt pretty bombarded by the "Worldly Garbage" So that is our day. YAAA

Saltgrass

Tonight we had dinner at the Salt Grass steak house I had a yummy New york strip steak. ron's friend Brian came along with us, he ordered ribs Ron had a Rib-eye and the kids ate cheese pizza. What a great dinner. I was full to the gills.

Play Time

Today I took Ryan to a play time activity at Kids in action. They have all the gymnastics equipment. He loved the Rings. They had bars and mats for him to do flips. The last 15 minutes of the class they brought out balls and these pattles so Ryan and I were playing Tennis. I had a good time playing that.

Tonight we had dinner and the kids said a prayer for their Grandmother who dies on January 28th, 2009, it was so sweet. They both love her so much and want her to come back and in the prayer they talked about all the good times they had with Grandmother-She was the BEST GRANDMOTHER EVER. WE LOVE YOU ALWAYS.

We are helping Ron's friend Brian find a job,so I have been on the computer trying to see what is available in the Houston area. Tomorrow I will take him around and have him apply at a few places.

The weather was beautiful today. Thank you God.
