Torro

Today the mascot from the Houston Texans visited the kids school. His name is Torro the bull. So he was telling the kids to keep healthy by exercising, and eating right. He did some moves that he does at the football games, and danced. Fun time for the kiddos!!

Ronnie's

Sunday we spent the afternoon at Ronnies. he had new wood floors laid so he wanted me to see them. They looked really nice. Ron and Ronnie played with the kids and other neighbor kids. I chilled and read the newspaper and drank a coke (aww the simple things) I am glad Ronnie lives close to us,he is an awesome brother to the kids, they adore him.

Sabbath

Friday Ronnie picked up Kaitlyn, and she stayed with him overnight, and Ron took Ryan Saturday night to the Drag Races in Baytown. I was scheduled to work in the kitchen at church (I really enjoy that) So I was teamed up with Amy Machin, she is such a great person. So we served snacks before and after church. Mr.Perry gave an awesome sermon about sin and examining ourselves. After church I helped with the snacks, then we had a potluck, boy was the food good. I really enjoyed all the fellowshipping that I was able to do. I got home at 7:30,and Ronnie dropped Kaitlyn off about 25 minutes later. Ron and Ryan had a blast at the dragapalooza. I am so glad they had some quality father son time, I think it is so important. What a great day!!!

Dad

Febuary 11th was the 16th Anniversary of my dads passing. Boy, do I miss him so much. He was such an amazing dad. He told us all the time that he loved us,and we were special to him.
He will always be remembered for being an amazing Pastor, friend, husband and father. Thank you God for the gift of wonderful parents. In this life I have been blessed.
Love you always dad!!!

PTA

Today was our schools PTA meeting. Many people were absent (Busy day) We did really good on our Spring Fundraiser (cookie dough) My new position will be Everyone Counts (presenting a program to the kids about children that have dissabilities) So I will be coordinating that with another lady on the PTA. I also volunteered to be on the nomination committee (so I will be meeting with 3 other ladies and discussing who should be nominated for President,VP,Secretary and Treasurer. One other job I am thinking about doing is publicity (all the schools events getting them into the local paper) So it was a great meeting as usual. We are going to miss Kathy being the Prsident, she is awesome. I look forward to another year with the PTA. At the end of the meeting we got really nice plastic tumblers with a straw and the school logo from Ms. Pearce and Ms. Permenter, they were very appreciative for all the PTA does to help the school. We have an awesome school. So glad to be a Gator!!!

Bunco

So I got invited to join my church lady friends Bunco group, okay I have never played Bunco before. There are about 12 ladies. My friend Lisa hosted at her house,we had some kicking good Gumbo (made with chicken) and she had smoe other wonderful finger foods. Well let me tell you that game goes so fast that my head was spinning. I got a Bunco (3of a kind) and I won a glass pitcher, not to bad for my first go round. I had such a great time with the ladies (they are a loud bunch)
Well I did not end up leaving until almost 1 in the morning and I had an hour drive back. So this will be once a month,I will be hosting in July so I am happy about that.
