Yesterday the kids and I took my mom to her regular doctors visit, every 3 weeks like clock work she has her IV treatments. The location of the Medical Center, and it is by a college and in a neighborhood. So needless to say not much as far as restaurants or kid friendly places. Well we tried going a different direction and we found a nice park-YAAYAA So the kids played there for about 1 1/2 hours. After we went back to check on my mom and she was out like a light sleeping. The kids and I sat in the waiting room for about an hour, I planned ahead and brought Ryan's cars and Kaitlyns color books, it was a long day but we made it.
We took my mom back home. On Tuesday my mom and Jim's neighbor Lloyd died of liver cancer, so I went over and offered my condolences to his wife Sharon. She had not left her husbands side while he was in the hospital for 18 days (I think she came home once or twice to shower)We ended up eating dinner over their, my kids played and had a blast with Sharon's grandkids. We did not get home until 10:00pm.
The funeral is Friday at 1:00, Jim will be a pallbearer and will be giving a will be speaking, Jim has been friends with Lloyd for 30 years. My contribution is a Green Bean Casserole.
Tonight the kids spent the night over at their brother Ronnie's house (Those kids sure love their brother)
