Serendipity

I was sitting and folding clothes one day and I was watching OPRAH,and she was talking about some of her favorite things. She said that if you are ever in New York City you need to go to SERENDIPITY,and have a frozen hot chocolate. Well we did take her advice and go, AND IT WAS AWESOME.Just a small place,but very crowded, I read on their website that celebrity's go their and they post all the sightings. Ron ordered a salad and it was so good also. We had a great time,that was our cap off to our great adventure in NYC.

Central Park

Before the Feast we flew into Newark,NJ and stayed, we took a cab into Manhattan and toured New York for the day and into the evening. I LOVE NY, I thought it was such a cool place, so much to see. I really enjoyed our day there.
We saw Time Square,Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center,MTV and Radio City Music Hall.

We took the kids to this HUGE Toy's R Us, it was 4 levels and had tones a toys a indoor Ferris Wheel. The kids thought it was AWESOME.

Ronnie turns 25

Saturday night we had about 15 people over to help Ronnie celebrate his 25th Birthday, what a fun night we had all of ronnies friend were very nice. We BBq'd Chicken, Salmon and Steak. Laurens mom and dad came over. Man was it loud in the house people talking and laughing. I did decorate the house with balloons and some other decorations. The birthday cake was awesome it was chocolate with the whiped cream icing (yummy) Ron's friend bought him a shirt, Laurens parents got him some Seagrams Seven. We bought him a 1 hour massage (he loved it)
Ronnie was so thankful fo everything, he is such a nice young man. We have been blessed to have him living close to us. Hard to believe that he is already 25. So we had a balloon release in the backyard, the kids loved it. All in all it was a great night. Now my honey's birthday is coming up on the 18th of September so got to figure out what to do for him.

Back Again

I have not blogged since June. the summer has been awesome, did lots of fun things with the kids. Our niece came out to visit us form California, took her to SA. Ron and Ryan took a trip to Cali, and Kaitlyn and I to Austin.

Now the time has come that the kids wil be returning to school, I am looking forward to volunteering more than I did last year. I have a list a mile long of home projects, so I am looking forward to getting to that. My personal goal is to loose 50 pounds. I will probably sign up at the YMCA just for myself, they have a very nice facility down the road.

I really miss my mom, I had so many awesome plans for us. Now I have to find my own way and have my own plans. I know there is a reason for all things, just not sure why my mom is gone. She was the most AWESOME mother, I was truly blessed to call her mom.

So I will be blogging more when the kids strart school, we also have the Feast coming up in 5 weeks, we are going to Bushkill, Pa. Looks like a beautiful place. I am ready to go,the feast is always so Awesome. God bless.

Sushi and Furniture Shopping

Saturday Ronnie and Kristan took the kids to hang out with them for the day. It was sooo nice for Ron and I just too hang out together. Later that day we went to The Roomstore and bought a new couch (ours was broken) and a new kitchen table and chairs. It was nice that Ron and I agreed we liked the same furniture-yaaa. After that we whent an had drinks and sushi at our favorite restaurant Asian City, my husband will eat sushi now, I just think it is sooo awesome that he enjoys it now.

Ronnie and Kristan ended up keeping the kids overnight so I rented some movies and kicked back and enjoyed myself. Ron went too bed,his back was hurting him.

What a great day too just hang out with my man.
